Baylor holds on to lead for another day

NATCHITOCHES, La. (Nov. 15, 2009) – The Baylor University team of Jay Holland of Waco, Texas, and Andrew McAdams of Lorena, Texas, added to their lead at the National Guard FLW College Fishing Texas Regional Championship on Sibley Lake Sunday with five bass weighing 6 pounds, 5 ounces for a two-day total of 11 bass weighing 17-4.

Portion of Washington river closed to fishing

Action: A portion of the North Fork Nooksack River will be closed to fishing.

Effective dates: Dec. 1, 2009, until further notice.

Species affected: All gamefish.

Location: The North Fork Nooksack River from the yellow post located at the upstream most corner of the hatchery grounds, approximately 1,000 feet upstream of the mouth of Kendall Creek, downstream to the Mosquito Lake Road Bridge.

The trip is one of many auction items featured at the annual fundraiser put on by Greg and The Morning Buzz for eleven local charities. The radio show will highlight items, events and services through its two-day radio auction, “Lend a Helping Can.” The auction will be held November 19-20, from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days. You can hear The Morning Buzz radio auction live on radio stations throughout New England: Rock 101 (101.1 FM), WHEB (100.3 FM), K-ROCK (101.9 FM), and MAXX (93.9).
